OFFICIAL RULES
1. ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR CLAIM PRIZE. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry void where prohibited by law. Contestants must attend the event entitled “MY ENGAGEMENT PARTY” (the “Event”) to be held May 16, 2010 from 1:00pm-5:00pm at the Doubletree Hotel Atlanta NW/Marietta, 2055 South Park Place Atlanta, Georgia 303399and be present for drawing. Prize is awarded to winning bridal couple registered to (the “Event”) on or before event date of May 16, 2010. Official registration of Employees of MY ENGAGEMENT PARTY (the “Sponsor”), its subsidiaries, licensees, agencies, affiliates and members of the immediate families (spouses and parents, siblings, children and their spouses and in-laws) and persons living in the same household of such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible. This sweepstakes is subject to all applicable laws and is void where prohibited by law.
2. TO ENTER: Please 1) register online at http://www.myengagementparty.com/html/forbrides_index.html 2) enter in
person at the (the “Event); and provide a valid mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address where My Engagement Party Event can use to contact the winner. Limit one entry per person and per e-mail address. Entries must be received no later than May 16, 2010.
3. PRIZES: During (the “Event”), the show sponsor will choose the winning submission by random drawing based on all entries received. Prize consists of hotel for 2 people to a Mexico Resort located either the Acapulco, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos or Puerto Vallarta/Nuevo Vallarta areas. Resort selection is at sole discretion of the sponsor and is based on availability of resort for requested travel period. No substitutions will be allowed; valid for travel through June 1, 2011. Blackout dates and other restrictions may apply. By entering the contest, all entrants agree that My Engagement Party has the right to send the participant a one-time e-mail informing them of the sweepstakes winner and other offers; use and authorize others to use the participant's name and city of residence, in any print or electronic media, without compensation, unless prohibited by law, in connection with promotion. Participants waive any right to inspect or approve any such use of their name and residence. Participants release My Engagement Party, LLC, their officers, agents, and employees from all claims or liabilities arising in connection with the uses of their name and city of residence that may be made by, to, or concerning participants in the contest or promotions. The awarding of prizes is subject to the complete official rules and validation by sponsor’s judge whose rulings are final. The winner must be present at (the “Event”) for the drawing to claim prize. If the winner located at the initial attempt, winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner selected. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received.
4. GENERAL: Taxes on prizes and all expenses not specified related to acceptance and use of prizes including airfare and ground transportation are the sole responsibility of winners. By participating in the My Engagement Party Contest (the “Promotion”), entrants agree (a) to these rules and decisions of Sponsor which shall be final in all respects relating to the Promotion; (b) to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates and agencies, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives from any and all claims, demands, costs, expenses, liability, losses or damages of any kind resulting from their participation in the Promotion or their acceptance, use or misuse of a prize, including liability for personal injury or death; and (c) if a winner, to the use of name and/or photograph for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation (unless prohibited by law) and agree to execute specific consent to such use. Winners may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release and an IRS Form W-9, which must be returned within the time period specified by Sponsor or an alternate winner may be selected. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification of winner and selection of an alternate winner. Sponsor, its officers, directors, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents and representatives and their respective employees are not responsible for (a) any electronic, hardware or software, program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, interruptions, disconnections, miscommunications, failures, or difficulties of any kind, including, without limitation, server malfunction or by any human error which may occur in the processing of entries; (b) failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, and (c) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor that may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Promotion or website or act in violation of these Official Rules will be disqualified, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the Promotion or any portion thereof should viruses, bugs, or other causes beyond control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the promotion, in which case the prizes will be awarded via a random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. No prize transfer. No prize substitution except by Sponsor due to unavailability, in which case a prize of comparable or greater value will be awarded. Sponsor is not responsible or liable for late, lost, illegible, damaged or misdirected entries. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered at the time of entry. Potential winners may be required provide evidence that winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with a winning entry. In no event will Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates and agencies, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your access to and use of the internet site http://www.rsa.com/ or other sites promoting the Promotion or the downloading from and/or printing material downloaded from said sites. Without limiting the foregoing, everything on this site is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Web site. Entries become the property of Sponsor. No prize transfer.
